NADA raids NIS-Patiala again

PATIALA: The National Anti Doping Agency (NADA) conducted raids at NIS-Patiala here on Friday and collected blood and urine samples of 26 national players. This is the second raid in a month after NIS got embroiled in the doping scandal that rocked the country.
Sources said a three-member team led by drug control officer Dr Sangita Sharma reached NIS on Friday morning and the team collected samples of players till late evening.Though NIS authorities are tightlipped about second raid by NADA, sources said the team came again as some of the sportspersons had left NIS before their mandatory samples could be taken.
